Jah Reach Tau Ceti

Morning light through the colony dome Red dust road but it still feel home Two bright suns in a turquoise sky Alien birds dem wheel and fly Water wet and the river run free Tall blue grass wave like an Earthborn sea Strange fruit grow from the valley floor And Jah still open every door Jah reach Tau Ceti too Across the stars His spirit flew Wind still blow and the rain still fall So I know Jah watch over all Two suns shine but the truth still same Every world still call His name From Kingston dock to the frontier blue Jah reach Tau Ceti too Robots build up the house long time Layer by layer in perfect line Three-D printers and steel machine Waiting here since twenty-thirteen Step off ship with my woman hand First same day we walk the land Solar roof and recycled rain Ready fi begin our life again Me and my queen work field by field Teach the farming bots what the soil can yield Hydro tanks glow soft at night Rows of green in the purple light Alien earth and Terran seed Learning together what people need Hard work make the future strong Even on worlds where we don’t belong Sometimes late when the workday done I still miss old Earth and the setting sun But my child soon born under Tau Ceti sky And that thought nearly make me cry No little Terran running free No Earthborn child upon my knee First breath taken beneath twin flame Tau Cetean blood and a brand new name Jah reach Tau Ceti too Across the dark His love shine through Water wet and the wind still sing Life still dance in everything From the old blue Earth we came But the stars now know our name And my son or daughter soon will be First generation truly free
